I did a search for 'tax' but couldn't find anything that addressed taxes and legal work.
If (and I realize that may be a big if) I manage to find legal work in CR and land a work visa, will I have any obligation to pay income taxes in Costa Rica? |

You will probably get paid in cash like most 90 day boarder jumping teachers here. If you do find legal work, they will take 9% of your gross income and you'll get medical insurance through the government's socialist healthcare system. There are no year end taxes to file or anything to remember. |
