I am not having much luck emailing unis about jobs. I prefer not to go with the recruiters but many emails are bouncing, for example Xiamen, Suzhou and Yang En. Any advice or am I going to have to resort to the recruiters, and if so, which of them is trustworthy? |

You're going to have to take your chances with the recruiters; you'll kind of get a "feel" for them. I had one tell me AFTER I SIGNED THE CONTRACT that I owed him 1400 RMB. I told him to go to hell. He actually contacted me the following year for another position he had, but I didn't reply to any more messages from him. Anytime I hear anything from a recruiter the first think I ask is if they charge the teachers a fee. They always say no. They make a huge commission, so that's good for negotiating terms of the contract, such as all visa related fees (RP, FEC, health exam); even a higher salary. Let the recruiter take a cut in pay, they can afford it. |

Try these people:

Technically not a recruiter, and lots of links. You can post your CV and contact schools directly.
I got a pretty good offer from a contact there.
Best of luck. |
