Hello Everyone,
I have been on Dave's ESL Cafe and searching everything on the internet, however I have been very unsuccessful in finding a decent position in or around Shanghai or Suzhou. I have an Honours Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences and also an Online TEFL certification, and over 5 years working with children teaching them swimming lessons. I am just wondering if anyone else has been having a similar difficulty or if maybe I am expecting too much?
I have a friend working in an elementary school in Shanghai making 10 000rmb/month with a housing allowance on top of that. I have been offered positions anywhere from 3500rmb/month to 7000rmb but for a 40 hour work week.
