Hello, I am in the process of negotiating work with a couple of travel companies in Mexico. I have a background teaching English and business writing (in the states) and they want to know what my rates are for business writing; mostly writing and editing their website. The work would be done via email until i am able to get down there. Does anyone know what the going rate would be? I don't want to quote too much and lose this opportunity...
Thanks for any and all advice/suggestions given...
happy holidays!

I did a similar editing job. I was asked by a real estate firm in Merida to edit their sales brochure which ran about 1500-2000 words. I billed them 5 hours at 100 pesos an hour. I have been told by other posters that this was way too low. |
