There's been a spate of sex attacks on children in the past few years.
A year ago or so it was a French teenage boy whose mother went public and suffered the humiliating of being told it was her son's own fault.
A few years earlier it was an Indian family in the desert. Mother and daughters were raped while the grandmother watched helplessly. I remember this was big news when I was living in Oman as it happened not too far from the Musandem.
A number of teenage girls and boys have been accosted and molested in various places in the past few years but everyone blames the kids and not the attackers, saying the kids were provocative.
And now this innocent child in a mosque.

What is happening to this culture? People here blame the west for such things and say that western sex crimes are infiltrating the culture here.
But is this really so? From what I know these crimes have always existed in this area but been kept quiet.
Will justice be served for this boy's family? My son is 24 now but if this had happened to my son, I would go on a rampage.
