It has been several years since I worked in the Emirates. Can anyone tell me if the ban is still the norm-6 months unless you have a NOC? Generally speaking, will employers provide the employee with a NOC?

Any info related to the current ban policy in the UAE is appreciated. Feel free to PM. Thanks.

There was a discussion here a couple of months ago, you should be able to find it using the search function.

As I recall, so long as you complete your contract in full - you shouldn't be banned. That said, there are a couple of employers in that previous thread who automatically ban anyone who is leaving their employ (SABIS I think) just because they can.
