Where should I look for the cheapest airfair from Australia to Taiwan? Are there any good (and reliable), agents in Taiwan through whom I can book a return ticket?
Thanks. |

Apparently there is one in Sydney that a lot of Taiwanese use. It is located in St. Leonards and is called Century 21 or 21st Century. They do have a website so you could search for them. |

Thanks. I found these guys offering return flights from Sydney/Melbourne to Taiwan for an impossibly low $15,300 NWT, and honestly couldn't believe it. I sent them an email to confirm, so I'll be interested to see the response I get. |

Well, here's their reply:

Our ad price of NT$ 15,300 for Sydney or Melbourne is a return ticket fare NOT including taxes.
This price is from Vietnam Air (via HCMC) valid until end of February (departure date). It's a 3 months ticket.
Flight schedule:
TPE - SGN VN 929 0745 / 1030
SGN - SYD VN 783 2035 / 0905+1 or SGN - MEL VN 781 2055 / 0925+1
SYD - SGN VN 782 1105 / 1535 or MEL - SGN VN 780 1055 / 1530
SGN - TPE VN 928 1700 / 2115
Subject to taxes after booking. |
Unless the taxes are totally disgraceful, that is an incredibly low price. Pity I'm after an open ended ticket. |
