Reviewing the website for Grande Prairie Regional College I saw that they want only people with work permission in Canada to apply. Has anyone discovered differently? |

I don'tknow anything about this specific school, but as a US citizen who has worked in Canada (I have a green card thanks to spouse's job) I can say that neither universities or language schools will get a visa for a non-Canadian English teacher, regardless of quals and experience. There are simply too many Canadian teachers on the job market. |

No, not in Canada. There are so many qualified instructors seeking ESL work in colleges and universities that they would never consider someone without permission to work in Canada. |
