Hello all,

Can anyone tell me whether the JET Program's interview dates are toward the end of February each year? I realize the dates will change slightly each year, but I need to know whether it's even a possibility for me.

Here's my situation: I'm currently teaching in Korea and have renewed for a second year (March 2015-February 2016). After I finish my second year, though, I'd like to apply for the JET Program. I would start the application process by gathering my documents in October 2015 and submitting them from overseas.

The problem is that my contracts here in Korea run through the middle of February. For example, my last official day of this school year is February 17th. The JET Program website says that interviews are done in the US in January and February, but I don't know if it's just early February or if it's something that might happen later in the month. Anything after February 19th or 20th would be fine.

The dates move around each year, as you know. This year they're all in the first or second week of Feb. 2016 is likely to be the same. Application numbers look to be up too.
