I noticed the thread I started was taken down. I wanted some positive recommendations on universities and colleges in KSA. Preferably those in big cities like Riyadh, Jeddah etc. I noticed the other thread about Al-Yamamah that was just started was locked. This seems to be an epidemic!!!
Positive comments PLEASE. I do not want this thread to be locked or I am going to give up!!!

The following places all hire women (full work visas, direct hire) and have good reputations - more or less. Not sure if any of them have vacancies now but they are places worth researching.
PSU (Riyadh)
DAU (Riyadh)
Effat University (Jeddah)
Dar Al Hekmah (Jeddah) |

Dear passionateteacher,
May I add The Women's branch of the IPA (Riyadh): full work visas, direct hire.

Thanks to everyone, I will look into these schools. I definitely do not want to work at Al-Yamamah after I have seen that people cannot even have a conversation about the institution without three threads getting locked!!! I cannot imagine what teachers must be going through working there. I'm still curious though is the school in danger of closing? Because one of my other friends was thinking about applying to work there as well. I keep trying to convince him not to but he is so stubborn and insists on taking the risk. He is single and does not have a family like I do,but I hate to see him get hurt and disappointed. Is there anything anyone can tell me to help convince him not to go!!! He has read the threads but does not post here in the forum. |

Yes I have read the rules about making public comments on the moderator's locking the threads, which I have never done in my posts. I just made comments that they have gotten locked. I never questioned the decision of the moderator as to why they decided to lock them. People make statements and start arguments, I have not started any arguments with anyone on any of my posts. So I have no idea of what you are talking about.
In any case I asked a question about trying to convince my friend not to sign the contract for Al-Yamamah. In an earlier post, I stated that he was thinking of applying to work there. I just spoke to him and he actually got an offer to work there. I wanted to clarify if the school is in danger of closing or not. I read hints around this in the previous threads but no one addressed if it has been confirmed or not. Please let me know. I am trying to convince my friend from making a terrible decision. |

You started this thread asking for recommendations, and you got them. Now you are back on the subject of yamamah and the rumours about its supposed closing. Look,if what has been written here hasn't convinced your friend not to work for Interlink, I don't know what will. |

You only want the GOOD news ? If all the bad news was pulled from these threads, there would not be much to read. Same applies to News in general. It is the CATASTROPHES that get the headlines. I leave you to draw your own conclusions. |

I'd say that they would consider that a public comment and a whine about what they are doing...

No one is whining about anything. I was just making a comment, and I am not the only one who makes comments about the threads being locked. Honestly Veiled, it seems as if you are always trying to start an argument. I do not want to risk this thread being locked, so I am just going to ignore you!!! |
