|
|
I am looking for a summer teaching job in Saudi. I really don't care which the city nor am I concerned about the salary. I am just looking to try out the Middle East.
I have been in China for the last seven years and have built up a decent life, but I am a bit bored. I think it would be interesting to try a slightly different culture without having to give up on China.
Any advice about summer programs that provide housing? Which websites, besides Dave's should I check out? Do I have to worry about the visa if I am just doing two or three months?
Thanks. |

There are no "summer jobs" in KSA. Usually 12 months is the minimum. Many contracts are for 24 months. |

There are rare cases of 3-months teaching contract with private companies such as BAE, SDT,... However these 3 months contracts rarely happen during the summer. |

Rare here, but try the UAE. Some unis there hire for 3 month summer courses. |

Summer in Saudi? You must be joking! Anyone who can afford it leaves the country for cooler climes the minute the school year ends. In any case, getting a Saudi visa is expensive and troublesome, so companies do not issue them for temporary stays. |
