If I move from the mainland to the free land can I load up my cell phone and have it work for a month or two? Would I just have to buy a new SIM to keep it working?
Just curious, this could save me a major headache.
Thanks |

| Yes. New SIM and you're ready to go. |

Cool, but what I am really wondering is can the money and time I have on it when I arrive still be used? i.e. will it work with the remaining time of a mainland SIM?
Also, how much are SIM cards in Taiwan? |

| Nope. You'll need a Chunghwa (or whatever provider you choose in Taiwan) SIM. Not too expensive. I got a pay as you go SIM, so I just charged up my phone at 7/11 whenever I needed more minutes. |
