...am soliciting thoughts on this. Some sources say Aug/Sept is the best time of year to go looking for work throughout the country. Others say no, that anytime is the right time, if you're willing to do the legwork. |

You can find work at language schools almost any time in the year - in fact, summer is a down season for them. But most language schools aren't that great, and some of them are downright terrible. Sometimes you can find university/high school work at midsemester or if someone has to leave for an illness, but those good jobs generally will start in the Fall. However, they start hiring well in advance - especially the good ones, from what I hear. |
