Hi,

I just arrived in Lima, I plan to stay here for about a year. I have a Celta qualification and 2 college Diplomas, one in print media (3 year) and the other in Journalism (2 year). Would like to get some feedback on my best course of action to start getting some teaching work. I am from Ireland and a native English speaker. I know it is the summer time here, are many schools taking on teachers? I am staying in the Miraflores area if anyone wants to meet up for a coffee

Thanks

Slim pickings until about March as many poeple are on vacation. Go to a couple of schools in Peru with your CV. You should be able to pick up some hours here and there. Try to teach private lessons as well.
