They'll ask you some very basic questions. One they usually ask is about how you would respond in a teaching situation. The most common is how would you explain a concept to children (if you are primarily teaching children) where they don't speak/understand any English. Basically, you need to say that you'd first explain it and then demo it by using body language, drawing pictures, maybe acting it out with some students. Whatever you say you just need to make it obvious that you would use some kind of visual explanation. They might also ask if you have a problem working with children/what do you think it will be like. You love kids and of course it won't be a problem, they are bundles of joy and energy. They might ask what you want/where you'll be in 2 or 3 years from now, tell them you love teaching and you hope to be working at the same school. They might ask if you can see any problems with living in Taiwan, say no. Tell them you enjoy experiencing different cultures and that every country is different and you find it easy to adapt to new situations and accept a new way of life, no matter how different it is from what it might be back home. |
