Hello!
I am thinking ahead about next year. My dream is to experience teaching in Japan!
I will have a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Cert IV in TESOL.
Can anyone recommend any employers and the best times to apply.
thank you:) |

I recommend you check www.ohayosensei.com, they have a free listing of current job openings each month (they update on the 1st and 16th of each month), so check tomorrow. Or check this website under the Int'l Job posting section, you'll have to pick out the Japanese jobs from the mix of everything else.
Be persistent and good luck. I found my job through ohayosensei. |

Do some basic research. Best time of year is right now for most jobs because the academic year usually begins in April. (Exception is international schools)
If you want an ALT job (through dispatch agency or JET program, look further ahead. JET hires once a year, with application deadlines differing with countries (usually end of the year, though).
Can you come here to look around for work? If not, you are severely limited to about a dozen or so employers who recruit from abroad. |
