Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there any regional forums/boards for different areas concerned gatherings or just friendly meetups or whatnot. I'm going to be arriving in Saitama in less than a month empty-handed and want to start making connections right away.

I'll be living on my employer's "campus" for the first month or so (850yen per night single housing ftw). Is that a good way to meet people? I'm not really sure how it all works or whether everyone will be friendly or totally anti-social.
