|
|
Hello Everyone.
I am looking to get me wife to start doing some Translation work English-Japanese or Japanese-English. She is Native Japanese and went to school in Canada, so is fluent in English too. She has done Translation work for a few years with her last work. After just having our 3 child we need her to work from home. So if anyone can point us in the right direction on how to look for some Freelance positions and the best way to find some Translating work would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time in reading this.
Sincerely,
The Kid, The wife and our 3 kids |

Read the ads in The Japan Times (paper and online editions are different).
See the web site SWET.
Expect tons of competition. Have a business plan in hand. |

There's a lot of recent discussion about this over on bigdaikon.com. There's (at least!) half a dozen freelance & corporate translators posting on there and they have had some good threads about the subject lately, comparing notes and offering advice to newbies. |
