Hi,
I'm living and working in Saudi Arabia now and I'll be traveling through a few Middle East countries soon. Specifically, I'll be in Egypt for a month, Syria and Lebanon for about two weeks each, and Jordan for maybe 10 days or so. I am using a very basic Nokia cell phone here in KSA and am wondering if I would be able to use it in these other countries. Is it possible and economically feasible at all to get a new SIM card for each country I visit and use my phone? Thanks in advance. |

I use an aging Nokia witha "Mobily" SIM. Outside KSA I use it "roaming". Expensive but sending a txtmsg is ok. Just learn to restrict your usage.
To get a different SIM in each of the 4 countries you are visiting would probably be a hassle. |

Getting a new SIM card can be incredibly easy or incredibly difficult depending on the country.
Don't even dream of using roaming. |
