I was actually looking for people to share the whole experience of moving out there with, but if you're already there, perhaps you could offer some advice? We will be arriving with a 6-month and 3-year-old, so we will immediately be looking for childcare. We're not sure where we'll be living but it will be KL or Putrajaya as the school is in the latter area. Any recommendations for websites to look at to get an idea of properties available and prices?

Anything we should bring from the UK, especially for the kids? We have a small shipping allowance which we can top up a bit should we need to.

Basically, anything you can tell us would be much appreciated.
Thanks for replying.

KL is commuting hell. If the school is in Putrajaya, I would suggest looking for a rental in the Sri Kembangan area, or somewhere close to a mass transit station.

Let me look at my KL mapbook tonight, and I can send you the names of some housing areas that would be convenient to Putrajaya. Having the name of a housing area helps in internet searches.
