|
|
I will be going to BKK in a few days for some medical work. I am coming from Vietnam which has the worst doctors I ever saw. I know there are many good hospitals in BKK. Can you recommend one that is fast, English friendly and not that expensive. Thanks |

Depends on the work you need. Bumrungrad is generally regarded as the best for foreigners, but on the pricey side if you're on a limited budget. BNH is very good, too. Bangkok Christian Hospital is a bit down the scale, but much cheaper and the staff speak English. Couldn't fault any of them, from personal experience.
Check out their sites, go to the dept. for the kind of work you need. You will get a list of specialists who speak English.
Best of luck. |

Thanks for the advice. I was going to go to Bangkok Christian except that they did not have any infectious disease specialist on the days I will be in BKK. So I will go to BNH. How expensive are they compared to say bangkok hospital? |

Well, without knowing what kind of treatment you need, it's a bit difficult to say. Obviously you have checked their websites, so you will be able to contact them about costs. Thing is, you can never really say in advance what treatment costs with any accuracy.
Funnily enough, BNH has monthly discounts for certain procedures. You might strike lucky; I did!
I realise it's a bit personal, so feel free to PM me, and I'll try to get you better info. |

The Best hospital in the Big Mango for English teachers is Bangkok Christian Hospital. They offer excellent medical care and affordable prices. If you are a poor English teacher from Kaosan Road try the Phayathai Hospital near Victory Monument. I heard they offer budget care for backpackers and would be English teachers. Good luck! |
