Although I do have scans of my passport and my academic certificates, I am VERY wary about sending them off when responding to a any of the job ads.
Once the immigration process begins, I am fully willing to give all the necessary documents. I'm just curious about these ads for places that seem to want EVERYTHING up front.
There's just too much risk involved (especially considering the recent murder in Dubai -- those guys had UK passports that may have been stolen in the 80s!).
It seems to me that the best way to go about it would be to send a cover letter with an attached CV, along with a promise to provide the school/recruiter with your passport scan, academic credentials etc once you've had a reply from them. |
