Hi Scott,
Though requirements vary from job to job, Ecuador is one of the countries where your lack of degree would not be TOO big a disadvantage.
But if you're 40- what have you been doing? Your job and training history will make a big difference in terms of what kind of work you may find.
I'd also recommend a good cert course- maybe do one locally for the "in" in the job market.

Oh really so Ecuador isn't to strict about having degrees like most of Asia. I was going to try and finish off my degree purely just so i could teach OS but i might have to think about it a little if its not an absolute necessity |
