| My 4th school's invitation was a charm. Thanks to all of you for your help. I love Hainan Island, the city I'm teaching in, the University, and even the job. I've learned so much from your posts, I've learned what to ask for, what to be aware of, and I've even learned which motor bike to buy. Thanks again everyone for your help. I've been here 3 weeks and I'm very happy, so I've decided to stay. My former employer in the states was holding my job 45 days in case things didn't work out. Things couldn't be better! Of course, I'll wait the entire 45 days until I let my former employer know, but right now, I'm on cloud 9! You also taught me caution, and to be aware of the ying, and the yang. I guess I have not been yanged yet. Any way, if yanged, I'm sure it will be something to add to my journal, and if I don't like it, I can go back to the way things were. |

Congratulations! Hainan sounds like a paradise, I'd love to check it out one of these days.
I'm glad you succeeded in the search and this forum helped. It's like collective wisdom here. If we keep posting about our experiences, good and bad, then we keep learning and more people like yourself benefit.
