| So I've got friends visiting right around the time my visa expires. If I come back to Turkey with 7-8 days left on my old 3-month visa will they give me a new one at the border? Since it's a multiple entry visa I've heard that they don't give you a new one unless it's "close" to expiring, but I don't know what "close" means. 7-8 days seems close to me. Any thoughts? |

| I returned to Ataturk airport with 30 days left on my visa and asked for a new one and got it. It's not a problem. |

| That's good to hear, though I've heard that the land border between Bulgaria and Turkey is trickier. |
