|
|
Hello all ...
I've previously taught in an international school in Riyadh and had to leave my family behind in the US until I received my Iqaamah and until their Visas came through. The whole process only took about one month and I've heard about families being left behind for months at a time. I returned to the States to enhance my qualifications. When I go back to KSA, I'd like to be able to take my family with me all at once without leaving them behind.
What are the best ways to accomplish this? Is it even possible?
Thanks |

Like so much, it all depends on the employer. Some will let you bring your family with you right away. Others will make you wait until you pass your probation period. Only way to know for sure is to ask the individual employer what their policy on this is. |

Are there any particular institutions that are known for being cooperative in this regard? Also, which institutions are known for refusing to bring one's family at first go? |

The universities that do direct hire usually offer to bring all of your family in at the same time as you. Not sure about these dodgy outfits that operate with contractors. |
