Help! I just got here and I have to know what happens on Lost! When I try to watch episodes on abc.com it says it's only for viewers in the U.S.! Does anyone know a way around this? Thank you!!!!!

There are plenty of sites where you can view TV shows, albeit illegally. Google is your friend.

2 options
1. Find an "open proxy" and use it to access abc.com
2. Look into a program called "bit torrent"

As stated above, google is your friend.

tvshack.net

surfthechannel.com

I'm computer illiterate too, well not that bad, but these are easy sites to use. The shows normally come out the next day from when they would air in the US. Hope it's helpful, others have told me about the bit torrent thing and I have no idea how to use those!

Episodes are usually available about 30 minutes after they finish airing in the States. The Lost finale ends at 11:30pm ET Sunday in America, so look for it at about 1pm Monday afternoon in Japan.

But I have to wonder, do you guys (and gals) really enjoy watching these episodes on such a small screen? My wife won't do it, so guess I have to wait. Personally I like a bigger screen, and would hook up my TV to the PC to view those episodes, but it's clear on the other side of the room (the PC, that is).

It's not the best, but it's better than not seeing it at all. I don't want to wait years to see what happened. Smile

The torrenting thing is easier than it first appears.

1. download then install Bittorrent

2. go to eztv.it and download the links for Lost (can choose standard or HD quality)

3. open the link using Bittorrent

4. wait..... maybe a couple of hours, maybe a couple of days to download the episode....

5. ... download VLC player, hook up to your TV, and watch Lost.

Should work without any other fiddling about necessary.
If it doesn't, read through the info on those sites to help.

There are plenty alternative ways and sites that folks can recommend. But this works well for me and I get good quality.

Hope that helps and doesn't assume too much prior knowledge of computing Smile

It's a tough week, what with Lost, American Idol and The Apprentice all finishing up.
