For those of you who completed a master's degree and wrote a TESOL-related thesis, I am curious to know what you wrote about.

I ask this because I have applied to a few M.A. programs in TESOL and should begin a program by August, 2004.

I would also be interested in hearing about your experiences in writing a thesis as I plan to embark on such a scholarly journey in the fall of 2005.

I discovered copies of previous M.A. theses in the library of the local university today. This excites me, even though I know this will be a bear of a burden when I would put pen to paper.

I would plan to write a thesis about EFL in Japan or China.

Cheers,

British Intelligence and the Formation of a Policy Towards Russia, 1917-1918: Missing Dimension?

(What? It has "british" mentioned in there so it must be about English, right?)

My question is how many ended up in this field (yours truly) after twisting turns as opposed to those who were shooting for it all along.
