Hey folks. A friend of mine has been asking if I would consider working in Ma'Anshan city as she is from there (and yes, she's just a friend), and there's not many foreigners. I'm looking for somewhere new to check out, and wanted to avoid the major cities.

In any case, I was wondering if anyone had been there and what kind of city/town it is? I'm not bothered about pollution or such, but wondering about general amenities and entertainment. Also any insight into food would be useful. (from a westerners pov)

Also if anyone knows anything about the University there? I know its an Industrial type university aimed at the general area, but not much else.
