Hi, I live in Australia and am thinking of taking 10 days around Easter to go to Indonesia to get an idea of the place and make a few preliminary visits to schools or universities. Mostly I want to do some info gathering. I have a BEc Hons and MEc +just done CELTA. I would be available for work late June early July.
I want to contact places over there before I go to try to set up an initial meeting before applying for jobs.
Any advice from anyone about
which cities I should concentrate on (in terms of
(i) their liveability
(ii) the ratio of salary to living costs) (iii) housing quality.
Eg.Is Medan much more liveable than Jakarta?
And (iv) which schools have good reputations or which schools you personally have good experiences of?
