I got my schedule and class numbers today. I was told about 30 students per class. They must've meant an average of 30, because I have 17, 22, 24 and 65. I have already planned out my first class with each group, and now I realize that the Answer Grid and Pretend to be the Teacher activities are not going to work for such a large group of students (65). I was expecting 5 groups of 6 or so. I'd have to have 11 or 13 groups and just don't have the time.
So I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any good Teacher intoductory activities I can use. I'm not particularly good at lecturing or I could just introduce myself that way. I tend to lose my train of thought and ramble a lot. So I'd really appreciate any ideas you guys may have.
Thanks!

I don't see what difference a higher number of participants makes to the c o n t e n t s of your lessons; of course I realise the quality is going to be affected.
What subject do you teach? What level?

I suggest you take this query to one of the various Education forums (Elementary Educatioon" or "Secondary Education").

Perhaps you get so many different levels thrown in in this overlarge class that you can ask the school to separate them into different ones.
