I am a newbie to this site.
I am wondering what are some ESL teacher's personal experiences with recruiting agencies such as Footprints recruiting and Teach Away Inc?
Positive and Negative experiences are welcome.
I am researching a number of recruiting agencies in Canada and not sure which one to go with.

Depends on where you're going. If you want to go to Korea and you're inexperienced, using a recruiter is probably not a bad idea. If you're going to the Mideast, using a recruiter is probably a bad idea. See the forums for specifics on country-by-country recruiter analysis. |

FYI: Ben from Footprints really likes to make money. If he's recruiting you, some school is probably paying him the money they could have been paying you. |

Hey NYCESOL11211!
Thanks for the info.
Good to know about Ben at FR.
Hoping to end up in Korea for my first year after that--who knows!
Thanks!
