Yes, it is a bit annoying having to ask your students for information that you should receive from your school.

The question is, what is the proper etiquette? "Happy tomb-sweeping day!"? "Have a great remembering the dead day!"? "Here's wishing you many more dead to remember!"? "Merry stiffmas!"?

Where's Miss Manners? Oh! She's dead too. I'll just sweep this one under the rug.

I'm off. Sweet - five day weekend, as opposed to my usual four day weekend.

Really need to use the time more constructively..

I only get Monday Sad I've learned not to rely on the school for any information. I have a closer relationship to the students and they tell me anything I need to know. I haven't had a "going to class when no ones there because no one told me anything" moment yet.

Give it time... I well remember those "not going to a class that nobody told me about" moments, as well as one "going to a class that two FTs had been timetabled to teach different subjects at the same time" moment.

These days I just have senior moments.
