My girlfriend wants me to live in Shanghai but I am trying to give her a realistic scenario on the chances of me going to Shanghai vs another city. The thing is, I want to find work sometime by late summer and if there are no jobs in Shanghai I will go somewhere else.

So is it harder to find work in a large city like Shanghai where everyone seems to go? Or does Shanghai being a large city mean that there are also more opportunities for work?
