Hey guy's, new to the forum but been in Libya over 3 years.
Quick visa status updates.
Anyone from Shengen area will not get a visa at present.
Any one coming in from Dubai is going to struggle for a while even on British / Irish passports.
Canadians seem to be clear now but this may flae up again.
I'll only post general advice on the board but anyone needing specific advice, please feel free to PM me. |

Quick Update:
Brits, Aussies, Irish, Mexican, Turkish OK
Shengen should be OK in around 10 days
Americans still a 90% fail rate
Canadians now seem OK.
New visa system in place, It's not any quicker but the backlog from the changeover is now cleared

Schengen visas are fine, apparently some Dutch have just flown back to Tripoli today.
Previously anyone holding a non-Schengen passport but applying in a Schengen country was also refused. |
