The word is that Jubail (JUC and other places) is only for the Bold, the Brave and the Seriously Weird. Don't go there. |

Apart from the homage to Sergio Leone (& CineCitta), with its implications of the sinister, malevolent and dabbling in the Black Arts, have you got any concrete details on the more mundane and less high camp aspects of this supposedly tertiary establishment? |

I heard bad stories from the survivors of the recent purges. Jubail went through a sort of "Yezhovshchina" a while back.

Jubail the place is cool if
You are a family
You like a quiet life
You love beach / picnic life
Can get used to the months of high humidity
Find it exciting to run the gauntlet of the Jubail Dhahran Highway and have the Gondollars to join it everytime you fancy a decent meail out in a good 'highstreet' restaurant.
JUC has been mentioned in various posts over the last few years.... nothing much changed as is the way with KSA |

I still hear that Jubail is no great shakes. I think it has to be said that Jeddah,Riyadh or the Tri-city of Dhahran/Damma/Khobar are the places to be. |
