|
|
Okay, before I get flamed to hell and back I tried searching but I am in China now and occasionally the internet gets funny, searches were not working.
Sooo, very quickly. I first worked in Japan by entering on a working holiday visa and switching it over, the job was lined up beforehand. I have a friend now in Osaka who says that he could find me a job if I arrived again, I have 3 years exp. now so that seems reasonable.
If I enter on a tourist visa and find work, is it difficult to simply switch the visa over? Will they let me in on a one way ticket? Can I tell them I am taking a boat to Korea, hence the one way ticket?
Many thanks! I know this is probably covered somewhere but my internet is being a pest and for all I know I will end up double posting this too! |

Yes, the paperwork is very straightforward.

The airline is the chief barrier. They may not let you in unless you can show a visa in hand or a through-ticket of sorts. People's experience has varied, but usually you need to show you are passing through if you don't have a visa. |
