I'm trying to source new textbooks for next year.
Anyway....... Any recommendations? We do grades 1-12. Any tricks to getting sample copies (other than just asking, of course )
Thanks!

There's no trick, but don't expect some publishers to send you more than one copy, or the accompanying CD or teachers' manual. Some do, but if you have a huge list of things on order for free, they will know what you are doing.
Ok, there is one trick. Attend conferences where the publishers put out their wares. Ask for samples there, but at least then you can see them and page through them. Some have access to a few pages online, but I have found that most don't. |

yeah, they seem quite wary about sending books. I'm not terribly far from HK, there's gotta be an ESL textbook presentation there for sure. |
