I'll be arriving in BA on February 8, with a certificate but no other teaching experience. I figure I'll get a hostal for 3 or 4 days until I figure out where my possibilites are for work, and where I might like to stay more permanently. My current plan is very flimsy, and I'm a little nervous about the whole thing.

Please let me know if you have any advice about where to stay (I saw the recent post about hostels so I'm going to check out those places), where to go first, what not to do, etc. I'd like to meet some people in those first few days too, so please don't hesistate to email me if you'd like to meet up.

In the meantime, if you go to Gibraltar on Peru and Estado Unidos , you are bound to meet some great people.
