I wasn't sure when I first came here if there where whale sightings and tours but I'd heard there was a stranded baby whale somewhere down south. I'd like to investigate some things first, though.

Are there whale hunters in Taiwan and have any of you eaten whatle blubber with the aboriginal tribes on the islands? I'd heard that some of these people were Polynesian in ancestory. Do any of the Kiwis here have an affinity with these people?

I've been here three months now and study anthropology. Do you consider the Taiwanese to have tribal customs such as drinking snake blood that might be related to their mixed blood with the natives? I'd heard that in the past there were headhunters here, too.
