hi i'm planning on going to shanghai from fukuoka in about a month. it seems i need to get my visa in advance. does anyone know how to go about getting one from the fukuoka consulate? i'm down in miyazaki so attending in person isn't possible

Been a while but I do remember it only opens in the early morning on weekdays. Was pretty fast I but I honestly cant remember if I had to go back on another day to collect it or if they posted it to me.

thanks for the info. if anyone else is interested, the fukuoka consulate is open 9-11:30 only on weekdays. you have to go in person with passport, tickets, ARC, etc etc etc.
normal time to get the visa is 4 days, but you can pay an express fee and get it in 2. 4,000 vs. 6,000 yen. you can also have it mailed back to you if you pay an extra fee and don't want to go and pick it up. |
