Hello,
I just started looking for work in Istanbul, hoping to start around February-March 2011. Any ideas of where or what I should be looking for? I have a BA and a TEFL certificate but no teaching degree and I have been in Seoul for one year teaching kindergarten-elementary students. I think I would prefer the European side of Istanbul, but really I'm open. Any advice would be much appreciated! peace.

Hey, I'm currently working for Dilko English in Yalova, and my experience with Dilko has been great. They have a few branches in Istanbul (Taksım, Bakaky, and I think some others), so it wouldn't hurt to try to seek them out. February and March might be a difficult time to try to find a job, because the juniors students are in the middle of their semester so most classes will be into the swing of things. It's worth a shot though. The branches hire separately so you'll have to contact them separately.
