| I'll be bringing my wife to Japan and figure she'll get a dependant visa. But it is possible that she could get some work and enough to be considered full time (not teaching) so would she be able to change a her visa or should we prepare before hand. |

Get some work, yes. Full-time, no. Dependent visas prohibit that.
She could change her visa, but it would depend on what kind of work she wants and is qualified for. |
