I've found it a bit of a minefield trying to find out a definitive answer on this one: Which countries in Asia do not require a degree in order to obtain a working visa? I know the answer is that there are very few places however somebody mentioned to me recently that some states/provinces in China offer working visas to non degree holders.
I was considering Asia for Sep/Oct however I'm past turning up and picking up casual work, I've a CELTA, experience and a decent CV but no degree but don't want to write off Asia for later this year until I'm sure of where I can/ can't get a working visa.
Thanks |

With MORE than 3 years of verifiable experience you can get a work visa in Japan without a degree. Finding a job / visa sponsor is another matter.
Some provinces in (western / northern /rural ) China will work around your not having a degree because demand is so high and NETs are impossible to recruit. Places like Beijing and Shanghai are not an option however.
I think all the other countries require a degree as a minimum for a work visa although in many cases there are ways around it (employers bribe local offices for the paperwork) out in the provinces and away from the popular tourist sites or main cities.
