I have been an ALT in Chiba, but this year Chiba laid a lot of us off. My spot went to PT which would bring me to about 100,000 yen a month, so I quit.

Anyhow my job now is with a Kids Eikaiwa. I love the work, but I hate the way they give us time off. I only get 8 days off a month. So this month there are 5 sundays, thats 5 of my days off. Whenever there is a school holiday, and they cant think of something inane for me to do, like cleaning or handing out fliers, I owe them that day off. So this month, on account of golden week, I have 3 6 day work weeks this month. National holidays are not actual days off for me.

Anyhow, can anyone help me find a decent place to work in the Chiba area? Im out of the house from 8am to about 9pm everyday, so I have very little time to search.

Please help Sad

No, I'm only here becuase my ALT company sent me here. I am staying for my GF to finish her Masters.

I wish I could find an Eikaiwa that is hiring and is not horrible.

There's lots of jobs, and I've seen ads. Problem is most of the ads for this time of year are smaller companies, or shady ones.
But if you know of any eikaiwas or ALT DPs that are good, or ones to steer away from I'd appreciate it.
