I'm moving to Komatshushima (near Tokushima, Shikoku)later in the year and am looking for information on the area. I have looked fairly widley on the net, yet because it is a small town, there is little information avaliable. I was hoping someone could share some info, (climate, people) experiences, things I can't miss etc. I'v heard the dialect is extremely difficult?
I also am wondering about the reaction to living with my partner, unmarried, in such a small town? will there be a reaction? I doubt it, however I am rather curious. |

Married or not, single or not, you will be constantly observed in a small town, even if you do not notice it. Be aware of that, and you will retain some of your sanity. People just can't help it. |

"We're so curious about the foreigner! What do they eat? Do they walk different? Will I be able to dig some dirt up on them so I can tell all my friends?"
It's like a really bad J-drama, if you can imagine. haha |
