Any payment to you above and beyond 4K RMB is subject to tax. In theory, a reimbursement for a flight ticket should not be taxed (you give them the used ticket and they reimburse you the same amount).
The killer comes when you get bonuses on top of your regular salary that put you in a higher tax bracket. |
