|
I am taking a 1-month teacher training course in Chiang Mai in part of July and August. I have never been to Chiang Mai before, and I was wondering if someone could recommend a place to stay? I'm looking for a serviced, furnished apartment or even a guesthouse, something suitable for a professional business person, in the $500 to $1000 a month range. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |

$1000 is 30,000 baht and that will get you into a pretty NICE hotel (with breakfast) almost anywhere in the country for a month.
A basic room with air-con, bed, private bath will set you back about 10,000 baht (or less ) for a month.
The regular rate (long term) for the same room is about 5000 baht including electric and water.
