If a company asks for a record check and you have a previous DUI in your home country would they be likely to refuse you? Even if you are already over here?
Obviously it depends on the company but I am curious if anybody has had
this experience before?
Best to be honest and upfront you think? |

| Although I have no experience with something of this nature, I tend to agree with your inclination that it's best to be up front about it. I think it might not even be a big deal if it was just a one-time thing. |

Is your company asking for a record check?
I STILL haven't ever heard of this, at least in the teaching-English game. Maybe you're on some global-corporation level, though. |
