Hi,
I recently canceled my contract legitimately with EF. Through the company I am having my visa canceled and an exit permit provided. What fee will I have to pay at the airport? I read somewhere that this would be 1,000,000 rupiah. Can anybody clarify the situation for me please?

If you have cancelled your contract and had your passport stamped at immigration to end your visa, providing you leave the country by the permitted date then no you should not pay anything apart from airport tax.
However, I know teachers leaving through Bali with the correct stamps and paperwork were told to pay fiscal. From Hatto they should just let you through.
You should speak to your school about this as they will confirm the same. |
